Nothing says "Camping" quite like a roaring fire, roasting marshmallows, a starry night sky, and the sounds of the wilderness surrounding you. With "Wild Dwelling," Los Angeles based designer Justine Wollman captures those quintessential camp moments in a bandana that reminds us to honor and respect these wild places, along with the creatures that inhabit them. In her words, "I feel we should not be scared of the wilderness and its creatures, but respect it for what it offers us."
Inspired by many camping trips with her partner, David, "Wild Dwelling" weaves in countless memories they've made together. However, Justine's favorite was a night in Moab along the Colorado River. As she explained. "It was very HOT, and we couldn't sleep. So we drove into Arches National Park at 1am to view the stars. We sat for an hour on top of the car, surrounded by pitch black and the best stars we've ever seen. We even saw a green colored shooting star pass over before we left. It was just mesmerizing."
